Short description

Po del Breglia Farmhouse is a traditional and evocative farmhouse situated in the middle of the green Umbrian hillside.

It is 400 m a.s.l. The farmhouse has been entirely rebuilt with particular attention to detail, use of high-quality materials and refined finishes.

Description of the buildings

The farmhouse is organised on three levels.

The first level, which is a partial basement with a separate entrance, consists of an entrance, a wine cellar, a cellar with vaulted ceiling, and covered with brick, a number of equipment rooms, a laundry room, and a guest bathroom.

The internal iron-and-wood staircase leads to the upper floor, where is a magnificent loggia overlooking the entrance hall, with guest services and a hallway.

From there, you can enter the living room with a rooftop terrace adjoining the garden by an external staircase, which is built of masonry.

On the right is a service room followed by a master bedroom, provided with a wardrobe and a private bathroom.

On the left side, you can enter an open space consisting of a kitchen and a spacious living room, equipped with a fireplace built in Pietra Serena stone, which gives onto the porch with a view of the swimming pool.

The upper floor consists of a hallway and two bedrooms, each served with a wardrobe and a private bathroom equipped with rooftop terrace.

The entrance to the guest house, which is located in front of the pool, consists of an entrance porch featured by a characteristic brick-and-stone wood-fired oven. In the guest house, there is a welcoming dining-living room, with its arched window looking onto the pool, the kitchen area, a hallway, and a bathroom.

An internal staircase built of masonry leads to a cutesy loft which consists of a bedroom and a study area. Inside an underlying space, which has a separate entrance, you can see a technical compartment with the control panels of the technological systems: electrical and special systems, security and surveillance systems, heating and air-conditioning systems, hydraulic systems, sanitary facilities, and automatic irrigation systems.

Atriums and other linking structures were built in order to simplify maintenance work.

Outdoor spaces

The land of the property extends over a fenced surface of about 93.9 acres.

The land includes cypresses, oaks, English-style flower beds, purfles, flowers, pomegranates, wisteria and other essences. Moreover, it includes an ample olive grove which has approximately 80 trees.
